| 28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to establish a tourism promotion, jobs and revenue account into which a portion of the occupancy tax collected on hotels and lodging houses shall be deposited and be used by the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development to market the state for tourism purposes, encourage job growth in the tourism industry and support the tourism industry as a whole. | |
