AN ACT ESTABLISHING TAX CREDITS FOR BUSINESSES THAT RELOCATE TO CONNECTICUT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish a tax credit program for companies that relocate to the state which shall include tax credit per employee of the company, capped at a fixed amount per company, and a tax credit for a portion of the price of real property purchased by the company, each of which may be claimed during the first five years of such company's operation in the state.

Statement of Purpose: 

To attract new businesses to Connecticut and grow the economy.
