AN ACT PERMITTING BOARDS OF EDUCATION TO DIRECT THE PROVISION OF SPECIFIC IN-SERVICE TRAINING TO CERTAIN SCHOOL PERSONNEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-220a of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to direct specific in-service training to the school personnel in which such training is directly related to the responsibilities of such school personnel.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow school districts the ability to choose the in-service training that each teacher shall complete.
