AN ACT CONCERNING THE EQUALIZATION OF FUNDING FOR MAGNET SCHOOLS OPERATED BY REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-264l of the general statutes be amended to require that interdistrict magnet schools operated by a regional educational service center receive the same level of funding as those schools that assist the state in meeting the goals of the 2008 stipulation and order for Milo Sheff, et al. v. William A. O'Neill, et al., as extended, or the goals of the 2013 stipulation and order for Milo Sheff, et al. v. William A. O'Neill, et al., as extended.
Statement of Purpose:
To create equity in education funding.
