AN ACT CONCERNING THE FULL FUNDING OF THE SPECIAL EDUCATION EXCESS COST GRANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-76g of the general statutes be amended to require that a local or regional board of education shall be reimbursed in an amount equal to the total excess cost for special education and to remove the cap so that the grant will be fully funded.
Statement of Purpose:
To full fund the special education excess cost grant.
