AN ACT CONCERNING INCARCERATED PARENT'S ACCESS TO A STUDENT'S EDUCATIONAL RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 170 of the general statutes be amended to require that a local or regional board of education provide a copy of a student's report card to the incarcerated parent or guardian of such student.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide access to the educational records of a student to a parent or guardian who is incarcerated.
