2424 AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT AT NATHAN HALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN ENFIELD.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That, notwithstanding the provisions of subparagraph (A) of subdivision (3) of subsection (a) of section 10-283 of the general statutes, or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department of Administrative Services requiring any town or regional school district to refund to the state the unamortized balance of any school building project grant if the town or regional school district abandons, sells, leases, demolishes or otherwise redirects the use of the school that was the subject of such grant to other than a public school during the twenty-year amortization period of the grant, the town of Enfield shall not be responsible for refunding to the state the unamortized balance of the school building project grant received for the Nathan Hale Elementary School in Enfield.
