AN ACT LIMITING THE PERIOD REQUIRED FOR THE PROVISION OF SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO CERTAIN FAMILIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 172 of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to limit the provision of school transportation services to students of formerly homeless families to three months after such family finds housing.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide school transportation mandate relief.
