AN ACT CONCERNING THE READING READINESS OF EACH SCHOOL AND SCHOOL DISTRICT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to determine a reading readiness for each school and school district for purposes of providing a tiered support in literacy.
Statement of Purpose:
