AN ACT CONCERNING THE QUALIFICATIONS OF STATE CONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 60 of the general statutes be amended to (1) provide that once a state agency has deemed a state contractor qualified to bid on projects, such state contractor shall be deemed qualified to bid on the projects of all state agencies, and (2) require the Department of Administrative Services to create a database of all state contractors qualified to bid on projects.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow state contractors who have qualified to bid on one project to bid on all projects and to require the creation of a database of all qualified state contractors.
