AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT LEVELS FOR PROVIDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to allocate available funding so that provider reimbursement rates are sufficient to ensure an adequate pool of providers to meet the needs of Medicaid recipients.
Statement of Purpose:
To set Medicaid reimbursement levels high enough to ensure an adequate pool of providers.
