2424 AN ACT CONCERNING PENALTIES FOR ACCEPTING OVERPAYMENT OF UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That subsection (f) of section 31-273 of the general statutes be amended to increase the threshold amount for imposition of a (1) class A misdemeanor from five hundred dollars to one thousand three hundred dollars or less for overpayment of a benefit, contribution or payment, and (2) class D felony from more than five hundred dollars to more than one thousand three hundred dollars for overpayment of a benefit, contribution or payment.
