28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to allow an employee or the Labor Commissioner to place a lien on any property of an employer who fails to pay wages to an employee in accordance with the provisions of sections 31-58 to 31-60, inclusive, of the general statutes or section 31-71a or 31-71i of the general statutes, or fails to compensate such employee in accordance with section 31-76k of the general statutes, in the amount that the Labor Commissioner or employee will be entitled to recover from the employer in a civil action for such failure. | |
