AN ACT PERMITTING MUNICIPAL ZONING COMMISSIONS TO LIMIT THE CONTINUATION OF CERTAIN NONCONFORMING USES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 8-2 of the general statutes be amended to permit municipal zoning commissions to limit the continuation of certain nonconforming uses of residential dwellings when such residential dwellings are conveyed to new owners.

Statement of Purpose: 

To permit municipal zoning commissions to enact regulations limiting the continuation of nonconforming uses of residential dwellings when such dwellings are conveyed.
