AN ACT CONCERNING THE STANDARDS FOR LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 20-195dd of the general statutes be amended to improve the educational standards of licensed professional counselors and require that such standards be met as a requirement for licensure as a professional counselor.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve the standards for licensed professional counselors and ensure they have met the proper educational and training standards prior to licensure.
