AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSPORTATION FOR VETERANS TO MEDICAL CARE APPOINTMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to make available certain state vehicles for the purpose of providing transportation to veterans who live in rural areas of the state and who have established hardship in securing transportation to health care appointments or services from a Veterans' Administration medical facility.
Statement of Purpose:
To make available certain state vehicles to assist eligible veterans in securing transportation to Veterans' Administration medical care appointments or services.
