AN ACT CONCERNING INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require that the insurance carrier of a student receiving special education and related services is responsible for covering the expenses of such special education and related services.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the cost of special education to school districts.
