RESOLUTION PROPOSING A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT CONCERNING LENGTH OF LEGISLATIVE SESSIONS.

Resolved by this Assembly:

That article third of the amendments to the Constitution be amended to provide that (1) the General Assembly convene for only forty-five days per calendar year, and (2) members of the general assembly receive a salary commensurate with such shorter session and no fringe benefits.

Statement of Purpose: 

To make the General Assembly a true part-time legislature.
