RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION ALLOWING FOR EARLY VOTING.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That the Constitution of the state of Connecticut be amended to provide that an elector may cast a ballot at an election during the seven calendar days, except Sunday, prior to the day of a regular election at a location within each municipality designated by the registrars of voters of such municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for increased time during which an elector may cast a ballot at an election and decrease obstacles that may discourage voting.
