AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF AN ADVISORY COUNCIL RELATING TO DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP, INTERNET SAFETY AND MEDIA LITERACY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 163 of the general statutes be amended to create an advisory council within the Department of Education that shall provide recommendations for best practices relating to instruction in digital citizenship, Internet safety and media literacy and shall consist of experts, teachers, librarians, parent organizations, educators and administrators.
Statement of Purpose:
To create an advisory council within the Department of Education relating to digital citizenship, Internet safety and media literacy.
