AN ACT CONCERNING STAFF MEMBERSHIP OR PRIVILEGES OF PHYSICIANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit hospitals to grant staff membership or privileges to only those physicians who accept all of the insurance plans that are accepted by the hospital.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent patients from receiving unexpected bills.
