2424 AN ACT CONCERNING THE ELIMINATION OF THE POSITION OF SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS FOR CERTAIN TOWNS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That section 10-157 of the general statutes be amended to permit the legislative body of any town with (1) a population of fewer than ten thousand, (2) no more than two public schools located in the town, and (3) a resident student population of fewer than two thousand, to eliminate the position of superintendent of schools for the school district of such town and permit a school principal to perform the functions of a superintendent.
