AN ACT CONCERNING HAIR SALON INSPECTION FEES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Consumer Protection to prorate the inspection fee for hair salons, based on the number of salon employees and number of different services provided by such salons.

Statement of Purpose: 

To allow for lesser inspection fees for smaller hair salons.
