AN ACT CONCERNING ROOFING, WINDOW AND SIDING CONSUMER WARRANTIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that consumer warranties for roofing, windows and siding include the cost of labor as well as materials.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent homeowners who have roofs, siding or windows replaced under a warranty from incurring the labor costs associated with such replacement.
