AN ACT CONCERNING THE REDUCTION OF CONCUSSIONS IN YOUTH SPORTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require any person officiating an intramural or interscholastic athletics game or another youth sports organization game to eject from such game any student or youth athlete who intentionally hits another student or youth athlete on the head.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the instances of concussions in intramural and interscholastic athletics and other youth sports.
