AN ACT CREATING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY INDEMNIFICATION OF POLICE OFFICERS BY MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That a task force be established to study and make recommendations concerning the indemnification of police officers by municipalities, including limitations on awards, impact of prejudgment remedies and reimbursement by municipalities to police officers.
Statement of Purpose:
To study indemnification of police officers by municipalities.
