AN ACT CONCERNING THE TRAINING OF INDIVIDUALS STAFFING RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES LICENSED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2017) The Department of Public Health shall convene a working group to evaluate the training requirements for individuals staffing residential care homes licensed by the department under section 19a-491 of the general statutes regarding the dispensing of medication. Not later than January 1, 2018, the working group shall report to the department its findings and any recommendations for changes to such requirements.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
