AN ACT EXCLUDING OVERTIME PAYMENTS, LONGEVITY PAY AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR MILEAGE FROM THE CALCULATION OF RETIREMENT INCOME OF STATE AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to exclude payments of overtime, longevity pay and reimbursement for mileage from the calculations of base salary for purposes of determining a state or municipal employee's retirement income.
Statement of Purpose:
To reform and reduce unfunded long-term pension liability in the state.
