AN ACT EXCLUDING OVERTIME PAYMENTS, LONGEVITY PAY AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR MILEAGE FROM THE CALCULATION OF RETIREMENT INCOME OF STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to exclude payments of overtime, longevity pay and reimbursement for mileage from the calculations of base salary for purposes of determining a state employee's retirement income.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the unfunded state pension liability.
