AN ACT REDUCING CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM GRANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to reduce by twenty-five per cent the amount of grants awarded to candidates participating in the Citizens' Election Program.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the cost of administering the Citizens' Election Program by lowering grants from the Citizens' Election Fund for all participating candidates.
