AN ACT CONCERNING FAIRNESS IN MEDICAID ELIGIBILITY AND REIMBURSEMENT DETERMINATIONS FOR HOME-CARE CLIENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to apply the same eligibility and reimbursement guidelines to home care as to institutional care.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish parity in Medicaid eligibility and reimbursement determinations for home care and institutional care.
