2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That section 52-584 of the general statutes be amended to extend the statute of limitations for medical malpractice claims arising from lost or hidden surgical materials that are not extracted at the time of surgery to two years from the date of discovery of the presence of such materials.
