AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL FIRE APPARATUS SAFETY AND TESTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require each municipal and volunteer fire department to maintain the pump and aerial components of such department's fire apparatus in compliance with the inspection, maintenance and testing requirements of standard 1911 of the National Fire Protection Association.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that fire departments maintain fire apparatus in compliance with National Fire Protection Association standards.
