AN ACT REQUIRING STATE EMPLOYEE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS AND ARBITRATION AWARDS TO BE APPROVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 5-287 of the general statutes be amended to require a vote by each chamber of the General Assembly on all collective bargaining agreements and arbitration awards.
Statement of Purpose:
To require legislative approval for all state employee collective bargaining agreements and arbitration awards.
