AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TESTING OF SHELLFISH AT ALTERNATIVE LAB FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize the testing of shellfish at alternative laboratory facilities that meet an acceptable standard.
Statement of Purpose:
To ease the burden on the shellfish industry by expanding the network of acceptable labs for shellfish testing.
