AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF A NUMBER PLATE TO COMMEMORATE THE CHARTER OAK TREE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall issue Charter Oak Tree commemorative number plates and that a fee shall be charged for the issuance of such number plates that shall be in addition to the regular fee or fees prescribed for the registration of a motor vehicle and that shall be used to pay the administrative cost of issuing such number plates.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a commemorative number plate recognizing the Charter Oak Tree.
