AN ACT PROHIBITING HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS FROM REFERRING PATIENTS TO CERTAIN HEALTH CARE FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a health care provider from referring any patient to a health care facility in which such provider or an immediate family member of such provider owns a beneficial interest or with which such provider or immediate family member has a compensation arrangement.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect patients.
