AN ACT CONCERNING CHIROPRACTORS CLEARING STUDENT ATHLETES FOR PARTICIPATION IN AN ATHLETIC ACTIVITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to add chiropractors to the list of licensed health care professionals that can clear a student athlete to participate in an intramural, interscholastic or college athletic activity after showing signs of or being diagnosed with a concussion.
Statement of Purpose:
To assure patient choice of a medical provider.
