AN ACT CONCERNING STATE EMPLOYEES AND THE TRANSFER OF RETIREMENT BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow retirement benefits to be transferred immediately to a state employee's significant other at the time of the state employee's death.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow state employee retirement benefits to be transferred to a significant other immediately upon the death of such state employee.
