AN ACT PROHIBITING THE HIRING OF FAMILY MEMBERS FOR STATE EMPLOYMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 67 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any state employee or public official from hiring a family member to work in such employee's or official's state agency.
Statement of Purpose:
To remove nepotism from state employment.
