2424 AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPALLY OPERATED EDUCATION AND GOVERNMENT PUBLIC ACCESS CHANNELS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That the general statutes be amended to require any third-party nonprofit community access provider to, upon request from any town within its service territory, provide written consent for the town to:

3030 (1) Operate education and government public access channels in that town; and

3232 (2) Engage freely and directly with the community antenna television company providing services in such town to use their headend equipment for dissemination of town-specific community access programming on such channels.
