AN ACT REPEALING THE REQUIREMENT OF A PRELIMINARY PLANNING AND PLACEMENT TEAM MEETING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (8) of subsection (a) of section 10-76d of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the requirement that a member of a planning and placement team meet with a parent or guardian prior to the referral planning and placement team meeting.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce special education mandates on school districts.
