2626 AN ACT CONCERNING SIGNS ADVERTISING ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR AT RETAIL PREMISES.

2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

3030 That section 30-95 of the general statutes be amended to specify that: (1) nonelectric or nonneon signs may be displayed outside any permit premises, unless such signs are prohibited by local municipal ordinance, (2) any sign advertising the sale of a registered brand of alcoholic liquor shall be located within a reasonable proximity from the main entrance of any permit premises or affixed to an existing structure within the premises, and (3) the Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall, by regulation, establish a limit on the amount that may be spent on the advertising pursuant to said section.
