AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO RECORDS MAINTAINED BY CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMON INTEREST COMMUNITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 825 and 828 of the general statutes be amended to permit any unit owner or a unit owner's authorized agent to access records of an association of unit owners or association concerning (1) the salary of any employee of an association of unit owners or association, and (2) sums paid to vendors or contractors concerning goods or services rendered to an association of unit owners or association.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide unit owners in condominiums and common interest communities with expanded access to community records.
