AN ACT WAIVING INCORPORATION FEES AND THE BUSINESS ENTITY TAX FOR SMALL NONPROFIT SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT VETERANS AND MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to waive for service organizations that support veterans and members of the armed forces the payment of (1) any fees associated with incorporating, and (2) the business entity tax.
Statement of Purpose:
To waive a certain fee and tax for small nonprofit organizations providing assistance to veterans and members of the armed forces.
