2424 AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ARBITRATION BOARD IN LIEU OF CERTAIN REQUIRED REIMBURSEMENTS FOR ILL OR DECEASED PETS PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED FROM PET SHOPS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That section 22-344b of the general statutes be amended to replace required reimbursement provisions for ill or deceased pets previously purchased from pet shops with the establishment of an arbitration panel that may consist of members from pet shops, veterinarians, the State Veterinarian's office and the Departments of Agriculture and Consumer Protection. Such arbitration panel would be responsible for resolving any warrantee dispute concerning such ill or deceased pet.
