AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE REVIEW OF THE APPROPRIATE USES OF EMINENT DOMAIN BY THE STATE OR A MUNICIPALITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the General Assembly establish a task force to conduct a review of the appropriate uses of eminent domain by the state or a municipality and that such review include an examination of state laws that permit the use of eminent domain for purposes of economic development or redevelopment.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a task force to conduct a review of the appropriate uses of eminent domain by the state or a municipality.
