AN ACT CONCERNING UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION INVOLVING CERTAIN MOTOR VEHICLES USED FOR TRANSPORT PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subparagraph (P) of subdivision (5) of subsection (a) of section 31-222 of the general statutes be amended to modify the unemployment compensation exemption for certain motor vehicles used for transport purposes by (1) including motor vehicles used for transporting persons, and (2) reducing the gross vehicle weight rating from in excess of ten thousand pounds to in excess of six thousand pounds.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the unemployment compensation exemption for certain motor transport vehicles.
