28 | 28 | That sections 53-202a to 53-202d, inclusive, of the general statutes be amended to (1) exclude from the definition of "assault weapon" any .22 caliber rimfire target pistol, and (2) permit the purchase and possession of any .22 caliber rimfire target pistol, as opposed to only pistols designated by the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection as specifically designed for target shooting at the Olympic games. | |
