AN ACT CONCERNING RIMFIRE TARGET PISTOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subparagraphs (B) to (F), inclusive, of subdivision (1) of section 53-202a of the general statutes be amended to exclude from the definition of "assault weapon" any .22 caliber rimfire target pistol that is designed for use in target shooting events.
Statement of Purpose:
To exclude from the definition of "assault weapon" any .22 caliber rimfire target pistol that is designed for use in target shooting.
